Google has announced its Google Pack, a free software starter kit for users of Windows XP. The Google Updater is the program that downloads and installs all the software in the Google Pack. It can be used to monitor the status of your installation, run the software that has been installed, or uninstall selected software. Whenever updates or new software are available, the Google Updater icon (located in the system tray) will display notifications.
